This tastes just like the strawberry milkshake you remember from your childhood. The good news is that it contains no added sugars, 20 grams of satiating protein, and 7.6 grams of fiber to keep you feeling full and satisfied. I’ve made this recipe a hot smoothie, but you can easily make it cold by switching out the Hot Base Mix with my Smoothie Base Mix and adding a few ice cubes. Enjoy!
Warm & Sweet Strawberry Shake
Serves: 1
Prep. Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 serving Science-Smart Hot Base Mix
Preparation:
Warm milk over medium heat in a small saucepan until warm, but not boiling. Transfer to blender, followed by all other ingredients. Blend well. If shake is not warm enough for your preference, return to saucepan and heat, but do not boil.
